YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY

The Youth and Young Adult Ministry of Amazing Grace Baptist Church Of Atlanta are the group of members of the church between ages 10-17 and 18-35 respectively. They are organized with the love of God through His word for both physical and spiritual formation.
The ministry aims at shaping the lives of the youth and young adults with the gospel of Jesus Christ and living faithfully with their peers as they transition to adulthood.

Vision
We are conscientious young people who will be example of believers in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity, and in fulfilling the Great Commission of our Lord (1 Timothy 4:12).

Objective

  • To always intensify unity among the youth and young adults in the local Church, in the North America Baptist Association (NABA), and other affiliations. (Eph. 4:1-4)
  • To demonstrate Christ-like character among our contemporaries. (Phil. 2:5)
  • To serve God diligently with our gifts and talents in humility in the church and to fill any vacuum whenever the need arises. (Matt. 25:20-21)
  • To seek opportunities to serve the larger community. (Gal. 5:13)
  • To evangelize and bring non-church goers and backsliders into the house of God. (Matt. 28:18-20)
  • To educate and disciple our age group with the word of God. (2 Tim. 2:2)
  • To raise future leaders for our generation to continue the ministry of the gospel if Christ has not returned. (Prv. 22:6)

WOMENS MINISTRY

Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) is an auxiliary of the Amazing Grace Baptist Church of Atlanta. This a significant organ of the Church consists of married women and unmarried women who attained 45 years and seeks to join by choice. They demonstrate the mothers-figure in the Church and live their lives according to the word of God. They are organized group who meet periodically to fellowship and train themselves to be example in their homes and community.

Vision

The Women Missionary Union (WMU) sees its work as ‘’making disciples of Jesus who live in mission’’ This is done by providing resources, engaging with ministries and offering leadership development. (Mathew 28:18-20)

Objective

  • To win souls for Jesus Christ (Mark 16:15-16)
  • To train the girls and ladies in the Church to live like Christ (Proverbs 22:6)
  • To play the mother role for the motherless (Titus 2:3-4)
  • To engage in leadership and hospitality ministries. (Romans 12:13)
  • To fully engage in the activities of the North America Baptist Women Missionary Union. (Hebrews 10:25)
