Founded
- Amazing Grace Baptist Church of Atlanta (AGBC) was founded and officially launched on December 5, 2004.
- Founding Pastor: Rev. Robert Yaw Owusu, Ph.D. Pastor’s wife returned from Ghana in February 2005.
- First Worship Place: Peachtree Baptist Church @ 2108 Briarcliff Rd., Atlanta, GA 30329
- New Worship Place: AGBC acquired its own property in August 2013 and moved into the new site in November 2013
Who We Are
- AGBC is a multiethnic church—Ghanaians, Liberians, Americans, Nigerian, Hispanic, Togolese, Gambian etc.

What We Do
- We do house to house and one-to-one evangelism (personal evangelism).
- We teach and study the Bible as Baptists.
- We do discipleship as Jesus’ followers.
- We meet together for fellowship.
- We seek justice for our people and community.
- We do community outreach and missions.
- We tithe and give generously as God’s stewards.
- We pray like the whole burden of the world is on us.
- We serve as servants of Christ for Christ’s sake and for the love of our fellow human being.
- We do our utmost to be responsible and good citizens in our country and the world.
Our Affiliations
- Founding Member of NABA (North American Baptist Association of the Ghana Baptist Convention)
- Member of AMBA (Atlanta Metro Baptist Association) and GA Baptist Convention
- Affiliate of CBF-Georgia and Georgia Baptist Convention
- Our Pastor was the immediate past and founding president of GMAG (Ghanaian Ministers Association of Georgia) from January 2010- December 2014.
